Sesame Seeds (Til) Laddoo
Ingredients:
1 cup sesame seeds
1 cup jaggery
2 tbsp water
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
Preparation:
In a heavy-bottomed pan, dry roast sesame seeds on a medium to low flame
Stop roasting as soon as the seeds start spluttering. Avoid over roasting as the seeds will turn bitter
Heat jaggery in the same pan along with 2 tbsp water
Boil the jaggery until it reaches a single string consistency
Now add the sesame seeds and cardamom powder, and mix well
Once it cools a bit, apply ghee on your palms and start turning the mixture in laddoos
