Sesame Seeds (Til) Laddoo

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sesame seeds

  • 1 cup jaggery

  • 2 tbsp water

  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder



Preparation:

  • In a heavy-bottomed pan, dry roast sesame seeds on a medium to low flame

  • Stop roasting as soon as the seeds start spluttering. Avoid over roasting as the seeds will turn bitter

  • Heat jaggery in the same pan along with 2 tbsp water

  • Boil the jaggery until it reaches a single string consistency

  • Now add the sesame seeds and cardamom powder, and mix well

  • Once it cools a bit, apply ghee on your palms and start turning the mixture in laddoos
